I'm not good with commitment.
I'm beginning to believe I'm not any good with commitment. I have two major commitments in my life (my husband and my Etsy shop) and having a set blogging schedule every day isn't one I can keep.
So, here's to my blog that I know I can update once a week at least!
Though it may be more ... because I just got accepted to the EtsyBloggers Street Team! :D Each month they ask questions for the members to answer in their blogs .. this months questions are "What made you open a shop on Etsy? What do you like about being a seller on Etsy? What don't you like?"
Etsy is one of my biggest passions in life, but I haven't really known about it for that long! I found Etsy while browsing around on Ebay. I went to an Ebay seller's main website and got liked to Etsy. I was awestruck! Of course I joined immediatly, but didn't set up a shop quite then. I had it set up within the month, though.
I love selling on Etsy because I'm surrounded by so many creative people and the majority of those people are really helpful.
Like all good things, there is a downside. The thing that annoys me the most about selling on Etsy is if I don't promote for a few days me views and hearts take a free fall!

Interesting ...
My mom gives me all her old magazines 'cause I have some sort of fetish for cutting out pictures and such. Well, I found something quite interesting in one of them.
From the November 14, 2008 issue of The Week:
A Surprising Source of X-Rays
Believe it or now, that roll of Scotch tape on your desk is an X-ray machine. Researchers at UCLA have discovered that by unspooling a household roll of invisible tape inside a vacuum, they can create bursts of X-ray light strong enough to produce clear images of the bones in their fingers. The phenomenon occurs because the sticky adhesive on the back of the tape becomes positively charged as it peels, while the polyethylene roll becomes negatively charged; the resulting buildup of electrical energy results in brief, explosive bursts of X-rays. "We're marveling at Mother Nature," says UCLA physicist Seth Putterman, who is already looking for practical medical and scientific applications. By the way, don't worry about being bathed in radiation next time you tear off a piece of tape: it only works when it's done in a vacuum.
That made me think hard ... but not about science! I was thinking "Who decided to pull tape off its little plastic O in the middle in a vacuum?!" I think the researchers were a bit bored one day on the clock.

I think you can tell who I'm rooting for :P GO STEELERS!
My shop is on hiatus for right now. I needed time to create rather than promote for a little bit. It's also kind of a happy birthday to me and my hubby vacation :P (Birthday was the 30th, hubby's on the 5th). I will be back at my shop Saturday February 7th!
TODAY'S FEATURED SELLER:
RhisBitsAndBeads!
Wow! This shop has some gorgeous jewelry at amazing prices! The photos are crisp and inviting, the items would accent any outfit finely.

I swear I'm alive!
Between Twilight, being sick, having a computer melt down, and me just being me I've neglected my blog D: But I am back now! My computer's alive, I'm not coughing up a storm, I'm done with Twilight, and I'm out of my funk.
TODAY'S FEATURED SELLER:
bluefingerstudios!
I've been seeing more and more scrabble pendant jewelry, which caught my eye. As I was searching I came across this wonderful shop! Each tile is eclectic but cohesive. The whole shop fits together in a disorganized way, and I love it!

Poof! I'm gone!
So it's been a few days since updates or features .. the reason? I've been sucked into the Twilight fan frenzy. My mom let me borrow the first book and the rest is history.
I promise, though, that I'll be back to normal as soon as I finish the series!
